Live Sessions Privacy Notice

Last updated: 25 October 2026

This notice covers our public live sessions — the Live Build and the Live Show — that we stream on YouTube, LinkedIn and Substack. It applies to everyone who joins the live room. If you only watch the stream, the platform you watch on is responsible for your data under its own privacy policy. For our website, see our privacy policy.

Who is responsible

WORLDSHAPER DF LLC (trading as Thane Alaric), represented by Daniel Förster
30 N Gould St, Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States of America
Email: daniel.foerster@thanealaric.com

What happens when you join the room

We use Google Meet as the live room, OBS to produce the show and Restream to send it to YouTube, LinkedIn and Substack. If you join the room, we process:

  • your image and voice, if you turn on your camera or microphone,
  • your display name,
  • what you say, and
  • your chat messages, if we show them on screen,

to stream the session live, record it, keep it in the archives of these platforms and show it later as a recording, including in our members platform.

You must be 18 or older to join the room. Please make sure no one else is visible or audible on your side, and do not share your screen unless we have agreed on it.

Legal basis: your consent

We process your data on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You give it by joining the room after reading the notice in the invitation; we repeat it at the start of each live. Joining is voluntary: camera and microphone are optional, and you can always simply watch the stream instead.

Withdrawing your consent

You can withdraw your consent at any time, without giving a reason: leave the room, or email daniel.foerster@thanealaric.com. We then cut you from the recording and remove you from the archives we control. Withdrawal does not affect what was already broadcast live, and it does not make the processing before your withdrawal unlawful.

Who receives your data

  • Restream Inc. (USA) processes the stream on our behalf under a data processing agreement. Your data is transferred to the USA on the basis of the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
  • Google (Meet and YouTube), LinkedIn and Substack receive the stream and process it under their own terms and privacy policies, as independent controllers. Some of them process data in the USA.
  • The published recording is public and can be watched worldwide.

How long we keep it

The recording stays published until we remove it or you ask to be removed. Our own copy of the recording is kept for as long as we use it.

Please keep private things private

Please do not share sensitive information about your health, beliefs or private life in a public live — anything said there becomes public.

Private formats (group sessions, 1:1 sessions, coaching) are never streamed, and never recorded without your separate consent.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data (Art. 15 GDPR), to have it corrected (Art. 16) or deleted (Art. 17), to restrict its processing (Art. 18), to receive it in a portable format (Art. 20), and to withdraw your consent at any time (Art. 7(3)). To use any of these rights, email daniel.foerster@thanealaric.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), in particular in the EU country where you live or work.
